She-Hulk

She-Hulk
Gorgeous, green and stacked with muscle, She-Hulk is arguably the favorite Super-heroine of female muscle fans. She's nearly as strong as the hulk without the anger issues. Created by Stan Lee & John Buscema, She-Hulk made her first appearance in Marvel Comic's Savage She-Hulk #1 (Feb 1980).

Every superhero has an origin. Mild mannered lawyer Jennifer Walters was shot and seriously wounded by Mob goons. Her cousin Bruce Banner (aka The Incredible Hulk) happened to be in town and performed a blood transfusion to save her life. His gamma irradiated blood gave her the ability to transform into the green amazonian goddess She-Hulk.

At first she was savage and wild like the Hulk, but eventually gained back her normal persona & intelligence. Between independent adventures, She-Hulk joined the Avengers and the Fantastic Four for a brief period. She's continued working as a high-powered attorney between fighting bad guys, and even recently worked as a bounty hunter. There have been some new incarnations of She-Hulk, but Jennifer Walters remains the original and fan favorite.

Savage, Sensational and Self-titled, there have been various She-Hulk solo series through the years. Even with a loyal following, all were ultimately canceled. John Byrne's "Sensational She-Hulk #1" had "Shulkie" on the cover saying "buy this book or I'll come to your house and rip up your X-Men comics. It didn't work, although she can still be seen in various titles around the Marvel Universe. See more of She-Hulk at your local comic book store.
